Welcome to The Factory. The Factory is a creative space located in the heart of Grand Canal Dock. The Factory is a space for film makers & directors to exchange ideas and support each other in the realisation of their vision.

Behind each door is an actors studio, a camera department, an editing suite, a screening room, a music studio. From script development right through to casting, shooting, test screenings, cutting, scoring and grading, the Factory provides a home for Irish filmmakers to see their pictures through from start to finish, all under the one roof.
The Factory aims to shorten development and extend the production/editing period. Owning our own equipment and sharing crew for all films under the Factory umbrella enables us to do so without running into excessive costs, like a band going into their own recording studio to write their album.

The Factory Actors Studio is working with young actors to develop skills specifically for the screen, building a pool of talent from which to cast Factory films.
There is no agenda at the Factory; no rules, no limitations or restrictions, just encouragement for directors to spend their budgets in smart ways, in order to have the freedom to find their own unique voice and speak to an international audience.
